At Newcastle Technology Solutions, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and social responsibility in all of our business operations. As part of this commitment, we are dedicated to eliminating modern slavery and human trafficking from our supply chain and wider business activities.
We acknowledge the complexity and seriousness of the issue of modern slavery, and we recognize that it can take many forms, including forced labor, debt bondage, human trafficking, and other exploitative practices. We are committed to taking steps to prevent and address any such practices in our operations, and we expect the same of all our suppliers and partners.
To this end, we have developed and implemented policies and procedures to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain. These include:
Conducting due diligence on all our suppliers and partners to ensure they comply with our ethical standards and legal requirements, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015
Including modern slavery clauses in all of our supplier contracts, which require them to comply with our ethical standards and report any instances of modern slavery or human trafficking
Providing training and support to our staff and suppliers on identifying and preventing modern slavery in our operations
Conducting regular audits and assessments of our suppliers to monitor compliance with our ethical standards and identify any areas for improvement
Encouraging and supporting whistleblowing by our employees and suppliers to report any instances of modern slavery or human trafficking.
We are committed to continuously improving our efforts to prevent modern slavery in our operations and supply chain. This statement will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure it accurately reflects our ongoing commitment to eliminating modern slavery from our business activities.
Newcastle Technology Solutions is committed to being a responsible and ethical business, and we believe that eliminating modern slavery and human trafficking is an essential part of this commitment.
